iPhone GUIPSD 3.0 by teehan+lax

Along with Apple’s offi­cial release of the new iPhone 3.0 soft­ware came a num­ber of new graphic GUI ele­ments. We’ve been hold­ing off updat­ing the Pho­to­shop file until we could prop­erly imple­ment the addi­tions. We built it using vec­tors, so it’s all still fully editable. Apple’s SDK is amaz­ing, but when we need to mock up some­thing quickly for a pitch we turn to this.

iPad GUIPSD 1.0 by teehan+lax

Now that Apple has offi­cially released the iPad we want to start design­ing for it. While Apple’s inter­face builder is great, it doesn’t really allow us to cre­ate cus­tom UI ele­ments on the fly. We decided to take a page from our iPhone GUIPSD and cre­ate one for the iPad.

Includes stan­dard inter­face com­po­nents for the iPhone 3G: but­tons, fields, map ele­ments, key­boards, icons. All com­po­nents are on a trans­par­ent back­ground and should re-size nicely.

This is a sten­cil for quick sketch­ing of iPhone ideas. Use the out­line for print­outs so you can hand sketch as well. The sym­bols are meant as a check list for included fea­tures in your app development.
