President Obama appealed for Congress today to support the recently released plan to allocate $30 billion to small businesses. "I call on both parties not to interfere with good ideas just because it is accepted in politics", - quotes Reuters American leader’s appeal to Democrats and Republicans.

"My proposal is neither liberal nor conservative colored; it is aimed solely at strengthening the country's weakened economy," - said the president.

We recall that Barack Obama forwarded the initiative of providing government assistance to small business sector on Jan. 28 during his first address to Congress and the American people "about the situation of the country." Due to funding this sector U.S. government expects to significantly accelerate the economic recovery. Under the plan concessional loans will be provided to target small businesses, especially those who are actively working on creating new jobs.
