THE four-day IT Show 2010 at Suntec Singapore, organized by the Eastern Directors is starting from this Thursday and will be bigger than last year's with more exhibits and new gadgets.

Mr Melvin Koh, general manager of Eastern directories, says: "With the recovering economy, IT Show 2010 will be expecting sales of $65 million as compared to $58.5 million last year." He is expecting a turnout of 800,000 visitors as compared to last year's 768,000.

This year's show has reported to spread its area over 345,000 sq feet of exhibit space compared from 330,000 sq feet last year, and will spread over five floors.

Also, the number of exhibitors has too shown a rise from 800 to 830 this year.

New products can be witnessed by Tech-savy visitors including iRiver’s Story e-book and Sony’s 3d World, while Singtel will unveil its recent incorporated promotional gadgets.

"Smartphones and Netbooks are expected to be strong as consumers continue to seek efficient and portable devices. With consumers' growing appetite of seeking content anywhere and anytime, the demand for products facilitating these experiences will dr5ive purchasers forward." says Mr Koh.

Apart from this, for every $100 paid or deposit placed on the show, visitors can grab a chance to win cash prizes in a lucky draw.
