Fallout 3 on PC You won’t have to wait 10 years for Bethesda Softworks to release Fallout 4 like you have on Fallout 3, for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 after the second game. Todd Howard, executive producer of the action-RPG, said in an interview that: “I think it’s good for people to miss things. Ten years between Fallout is a bit long, but I think there’s this nostalgia factor.”

Luckily for fans of the post-Apocalyptic game, set in Washington, D.C., Reuters reports that you won’t have to wait another decade for Fallout 4. After asking Mr. Howard about it, he said he believes three years is a good time frame between games.

A 2011 date hinted for Fallout 4 sure beats waiting another 10 years! But let’s first play Fallout 3 when it arrives on October 28th, 2008.

January 2009 update: Fallout 3 executive producer Todd Howard mentioned in an interview two important lessons he learned from making Fallout 3, that he will carry with him to Fallout 4. To quote: “Greatest lesson? Don’t let the game end, and don’t have a level cap.”
