Police Carry DUI Suspect In Tractor Bucket, Before Arrest

Shawn Anthony Hott is a Maryland man who takes his drinking and driving serious. So serious in fact that he lead cops on a chase before giving up his license and registration. By the time police caught up with the man they were far from the police cruiser.

Unfortunately Hott was so hammered that he passed out behind his still moving truck and had to be dragged to safety. And since that wasn’t enough humiliation for one night, police needed a local farmer to carry the drunken man back to the cop car via tractor.

Police said a Maryland man was so drunk after driving into a central Pennsylvania field that a farmer had to carry the handcuffed suspect out in the bucket of his tractor. Southwestern Regional police Chief Greg Bean said 36-year-old Shawn Anthony Hott, of Boonsboro, Md., had to be pulled to safety after he was nearly run over by his own truck.
